The Royal Press & Sew Series was born inside the Six Figure Stylist Society during our very first cohort.

As we worked together, my students humbly shared two areas where they lacked confidence. The first was pressing. Many had never been properly trained to use Marcel pressing combs, Marcel curling irons, or even maximize the versatility of a flat iron. They viewed pressing as a single service rather than a category of services that could include a traditional press and curl, silk press, Hollywood waves, and more.

The second was color specifically, the fear of using bleach.

Rather than simply teaching techniques, I wanted my students to understand the why behind every service and develop the confidence to make professional decisions behind the chair.

One of the most impactful exercises came from my own experience in cosmetology school. Creating a color swatch chart using hair extensions helped me overcome my own fear of bleach, so I challenged my students to do the same. Before learning extension services, they bleached the very bundles they would later install. By removing fear through hands on education, they gained confidence that carried into every service that followed.

The Royal Press & Sew Series was created to give beauty professionals that same experience a structured pathway to mastering professional pressing techniques, healthy leave-out preparation, and traditional sew-in services with confidence, precision, and healthy hair at the foundation.
